Cancer survivor and World Series Champion pitcher, Jon Lester and his wife Farrah will host NVRQT Goes Country at Joe's Bar on Weed St. on July 17, 2019. Net proceeds from the event will benefit Lester's NVRQT campaign, run by the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF), which helps raise awareness and money for pediatric cancer research.
Look for nationally recognized country music recording artists to headline a night of great music that includes Cubs players and coaches bartending and cooking up some country fun. Enjoy a hearty buffet dinner, cocktails and a premium silent and live auction as well as some game and additional entertain from players and local celebrities in attendance.
