About 46 young people, or 5 fields of little leaguers, are diagnosed with cancer each day. This number has been rising slightly with each passing year despite the success of recent treatment advancements. And, although survival rates have increased, the harsh effects of treatment can have devastating effects. At the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF), we have spent the last 30 years fighting to improve the quality of life for children with cancer. It is our hope that through dedicated research, education, and fundraising campaigns like NVRQT, we can one day end childhood cancer for good.
Commit to Pediatric Cancer Research
Cancer is still the #1 cause of death by disease for children under the age of 20. As the quest to find a cure continues, we at PCRF feel it is extremely important to get involved with the everyday lives of kids battling cancer. To encourage and support their desire to be kids, first and foremost, and to let them know that there is an entire team of researchers, friends, family, and survivors who are constantly rooting for them to get better.
